Little Miss I, Newborn session and award winning image.
Little Miss I came to my studio with her Mummy and Daddy a bit last minute, Mummy rang me and said “I have already had my baby and wondered if you had any availability?” the only days I had free were the Thursday or the next day, so they all came the next day.
It was a busy week, with two Newborn sessions and two Weddings already in the diary, but it wasn’t a problem as I so love Newborn sessions.
On the day we had a little lunch in-between shots and chatted (a lot!) and enjoyed baby cuddles too (perk of my job) Daddy loved our garden bar and my Husband enjoyed showing him around and telling him how he built it himself.
It’s been over two months since I did my training with award winning Newborn Photographer Alexandra Lord, investing in myself is the best decision I ever made, it has opened my creative eye and I couldn’t love this type of photography more now.
I decided to enter one of my images from this session into a competition with The National Photographic Society and I was awarded Highly commended for this image of Miss L resting in her Daddy’s hands.
Mummy and Daddy are over the moon with their photos and the award, Mummy said “The shoot was such a great experience” and “The photos are fabulous!”
I had a great time on the shoot too and I really enjoy the editing part too, each photo is like opening a gift, if that doesn’t sound too weird? Anyway, here a few from the shoot:
